Meaning Of Human Resource Policies

The policies which are formulated to quiet the thinking and action of employees at the time of decision making are called Human Resource Policies (HR Policies). It generally deals with HR selection, compensation benefits, union relation, public relation etc.

Features Of HR Policy

For the sake of clarification some of the important feature or characteristic of HR policy are discussed below:


HR policy is considered as a guideline as it guides its members for taking decisions regarding their course of action. It also explains which work should be performed by whom.
